The RP-UK Mutual Legal assistance Treaty and RP-UK Extradition Treaty.

The MLAT increases the effectiveness of cooperation between the two countries in combating transnational and serious crimes, while the Extradition Treaty provides the legal framework for either country to obtain custody of criminal offenders who have sought refuge in others territory.
The two vital agreements were signed by Secretary of Foreign Affairs Alberto G. Romulo for the Philippines and Lord Mandelson for the UK.
